Moorea and heading home

What an incredible trip. We ended our last day in Moorea with a bike ride up the coast. First stop Intercontinental hotel for cold drinks, then a futile attempt to find an ATM – and when we found it, it was out of cash. An impromptu stop at a jewelry store resulted in some heavy negotiations by Ian and “Crazy Annie” – Ian was the victor and Yvonne nervously accepted her gorgeous strand of Tahitian pearls. We returned to the ship where the rest of our party went on a novice scuba dive, and all were back for our final sail away to Tahiti (20 miles away). What an incredible trip this has been for us, we all had tears in our eyes tonight…hating to leave. We have been incredibly fortunate with weather, other than a short 15 minute shower, we have had glorious warm weather. And we have all had a marvelous time together. It is time to go though, Ian and Jim had a laughing contest last night at dinner, besides gaining the attention of the entire dining room, they both woke up hoarse this morning. We have been blessed.

First stop sign in 2 weeks!

Mary lost her chapstick, had to make do.

Pretty palms
